- Complete the adoption and all paperwork, and have the judge sign the final order.
If the child you are adopting must travel across state lines, you will have to comply with the ICPC, or Interstate Compact Laws. If you have lived in Oklahoma for ten years or longer, you will only need to have a state home inspection done. If not, you will have to consent to an FBI investigation as well.
